Please take a moment and a breath, and pray with me
As I pray, I sink into the holy space of Love, and deeply relax knowing all is aligned perfectly on this Good Friday. I feel my being expand as the presence of Love beckons me to recognize the fullness of life and the beauty of this moment.
On this day, a well-known and honored holy day, I am grateful for our expansive teachings. I appreciate the words and feelings and actions of those teachers who have consciously stepped away from ideas of limitation and lack, and have embraced the life giving mindsets of love and peace. I give thanks for the openness, the allowing, and understanding of our philosophy – the awareness of the many paths, and many names of God. I know that there are not enough words to express what the heart knows, so I invite you to breathe in and through that heart space – just allowing Spirit to have its sway.
I give thanks for the Centers of Spiritual Living and the variety of expressions within this group. I know as each person expresses love, God shows up more fully. I know the towns and cities and states and countries and universes and galaxies are forever changed each time a loving word is spoken, an act of kindness is completed, and a conscious connection with the Divine is felt.
Grateful – YES – Thankful YES – at Peace – YES
Releasing this prayer into the magnificent Law that knows exactly how to express these words into form, I relax and say, and so it is, amen.

I’m reading Wayne Dyer’s book, I Can See Clearly Now. I have long appreciated his writings and the example of Principle he has demonstrated throughout his life. It’s worth the read if so inclined.

Ah, spring. Finally!
Suzanne and I are fans of the Metropolitan Opera Live in HD. It’s a remarkable thing – live, high-definition transmissions of operas from the Met, as they are happening, to movie theaters throughout the country and in 54 countries worldwide. You’re sitting in your local movie house watching a world-class performance, and the mere act of doing so binds you by a simultaneous experience to people around the world.
A few years ago, we enjoyed a brilliant performance of La Cenerentola as part of the Met Live in HD series. La Cenerentola is Gioachino Rossini and librettist Jacopo Feretti’s telling of the Cinderella story. I am happy to note that another live performance of this opera will be shown as part of the Met Live in HD series on May 10, 2014. (Cinderella seems popular these days. The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of Cinderella – originally written for TV in 1957 – is currently enjoying a successful run on Broadway.)
The metaphysics in this opera amazed me. We open with Cinderella working and singing a song about a king who had to choose a wife and had three choices. He chooses the poor girl, the lowest of the three. (Of course, this turns out to be her own story.) She sings this at the opening and again near the beginning of the second act. Is anyone noticing Cinderella’s affirmation here? She’s affirming the choice of the poor servant girl by the Prince, which ultimately is just what happens to her. This is the power of our word.
Towards the end, Rossini and Feretti turn it into a story of forgiveness. When the sisters and the stepfather (a Baron) are moaning and whining about the Prince’s choice of Cinderella over either of the sisters to be his wife, he threatens to hurt them for insulting her and for other things. She intervenes, saying that, if he truly loves her, he will show mercy toward her family. She has a lovely aria about all that has happened to her and how it has, in that moment, disappeared from her life and she says that “My revenge will be…my revenge is…to forgive them.” Wow, the power of love, release, and forgiveness. And she triumphantly becomes a Princess. Her kindness and forgiveness show her worthiness to marry the Prince (and step into the riches of the Kingdom).
For those intrigued, you can find out more at http://www.metopera.org/hdlive If you can spare the time to go see it, you might enjoy the gorgeous music and you will find it a wonderful (and beautiful) metaphysical experience.

This morning on our daily prayer call, I set the intention to remain keenly alert in order to recognize God in expression everywhere. As my day draws to a close, I am delighted to report that I consciously kept my intention in the forefront of my mind throughout the day. In so doing I moved through the day with grace and ease with surplus energy. I did notice when I became distracted, moments here and there when my resolve weakened and my mind wandered. I also noticed by contrast how Spirit nudged me back into alignment with my intention. Off track I found a sudden sense of fatigue, the joy of being alive seemed to vanish and grace and ease I had felt earlier in the day sort of dwindled, I lost my enthusiasm. Each time I did a course correction and got back in alignment with my intention, my energy rose, I was filled with joy, I moved through my activities with ease and delight and my enthusiasm bubbled back over the top. I had become my own barometer. I heard a voice inside my, rather chiding me, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God …,” “It’s God’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” And “All things are possible for those of great faith.” So I added to my intention: “In all things be thankful.” Gratitude served as my super-charger throughout the balance of my day. I relaxed into it so completely that I surprised myself with what I accomplished this glorious day.
Aligning with Dr. Holmes’ declaration, “Ours is a simple faith,” my prayer for today is a simple prayer:
In utter faith and complete convicti on, I know there is Only THE One that is the Source and the Totality of All That Is.
Knowing that It is ALL there is and reaffirm that I am Its expression … I activity in this form. I am inseparable from it for It is the essence of me.
What is true of me is true of all of creation for the Creator is in, as, around, through and throughout each and every particle of its entire creation.
All is “of” God
On behalf of each person reading this prayer, I now fully embrace and embody the Truth of what I have just declared. I am fully awakened to what I am. I am an activity of God. I behave accordingly. I live and move and love and have my being in conscious communion with the Divine at all times. My God awareness causes my day to unfold perfectly,
I am grateful for knowing the Truth and for the God-based boldness to declare it to the world! I am grateful for Life!
In absolute confidence, I now release this prayer to the Law of Mind Action, knowing it is already known in fulfillment in the Mind of God. It cannot return void!
I lean in, relax, and know it is so!
And So It is
I delight …

There is a power for transformation in the Universe, and we can use it! As we transform ourselves individually, those around us cannot not change. Therefore, our change impacts and changes our relationships, our families, our communities and our world.
I know that all there is is God. Present everywhere, in everyone and in everything. Omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. The Indescribable Infinite, limited only by our experience of it, for as soon as we try to describe God, we place limits upon that which is infinite.
Knowing that God is all there is, I know that each of us is and must be one with and inseparable from God. Each of us created in the image and likeness of God, and each of us imbued with God qualities, available to us to be used to the extent we open to and accept them. Love, peace, joy, prosperity, abundance, wisdom, knowledge and many more are our birthright. There is a Universal Intelligence that acts upon our thoughts and our prayers. Each of us uses that Universal Intelligence to co-create our experiences.
So I know about myself, about everyone at Celebration Center, and about everyone, everywhere, that we are a transformative force in the universe. We examine our beliefs knowing that we can choose to keep them just as they are, or we can release those beliefs that no longer serve us and replace them with new beliefs. I see this change as Divinely guided and blessed. I see it happening easily in all of our lives. I see us open to the experience of transformation individually, and as we are each transformed, those around us observe the changes and are also changed. As this transformation spreads, what started in one individual multiplies exponentially, and the entire world is transformed. I know that the journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step, and I see each of us Divinely inspired to take that first creative step toward transformation. I see us open to receive all of the Good in the universe right now.
In gratitude for knowing these truths, I release my word into the action of the Law, which acts upon our thoughts and prayers making them manifest. I know that the law always works and that my words cannot return to me void.
I let go and let God, knowing it is already done!
And so it is!
