I Have Faith

Treatment by  Caron Ward, RScP

Most of my life, I have not thought about faith… ….it is something that has been a part of me without the need to consider its presence.  For me, my faith is like carbon – it is an essential element of my life –  it exists within me at a cellular level.     Yet, when there are situations in my life that appear sad, or difficult, or challenging, I find a need to sit and remind myself to rely on that faith, to relax and know that all is good and that I don’t need to be in control because I have faith in a power that is greater than me.  So I pray:

In all that is visible and all that is not, there is a Power, a Presence that is the very essence of life itself.   This Presence, that I call G-d, is divine knowing, eternal energy, never created and never destroyed, simply changing form but always and forever expressing as love, as peace, as the perfect balance and harmony that always just Is.

I know this Presence, it is with me, comforting me, holding me in love.  I know this Power, it is within me.  It is the perfect answer that speaks to me at just the right moment.  So I relax, lean back and allow….there is no need to try and control…it is with absolute faith that I let go of the worry, of obsessive thinking, and rest in the absolute unquestionable certainty that G-d is, and I am.   For I know that the divine right action that is mine to take, is taking place already, moving toward the perfect outcome at the perfect pace.

With gratitude I accept the divine guidance that is already known by me.  I know that my life is blessed, it is complete, it is in perfect balance …and for this I am so thankful!

And so it is with this gratitude that I release  my word into the Law, with the faith that it is already so…

And so it is.

Ahh, a Spring Day

Treatment by Rich Kurasiewicz, RScP

Hmm—it looks like Spring may have sprung—daffodils and higher temps and more light in the day…. While there is ample evidence of cherry blossoms and other blooms, the cool temps and rains belie that. We are in the midst of change for sure, just as worldwide there are apparent disruptions from the peaceful: the earthquake in Nepal, continued fighting in Ukraine and Iraq, even riots in Baltimore. In spite of all that, it is Life manifesting and God is present everywhere.

God is the One Power and the One Presence. God is Good—the Creator and the Creation; all Life and everything there is. God is Nature and Life and Truth! God is Peace, Love, Joy and Abundance and God also acts in accordance according to the Law. I am that I am—of the One Power and Presence. I am a spiritual being having a human experience in a spiritual Universe! I am One of the Creator and I am a co-Creator as all the Power and all the Presence is available and I can use it! I and the Father are One!

Just as I am perfect, whole and complete, I know that each and everyone is Perfect, Whole, Complete, Eternal and Immortal. I declare that each and everyone embraces the Peace and Harmony that is naturally present and Omnipresent to be calm and at peace. I know that positive thoughts of Love and Compassion go out to all whose thoughts are not yet at peace. For I know that each is a divine expression and sees the expression of the divine in each and everyone they meet. For each and everyone is part of the One Life and the One Mind. Fear and anger are calmed and replaced by faith and love when we take the time to transcend physical conditions and realize the Truth that is ever present and that sets us free. The Abundance and the Good and the Love that exists in the entire Universe are available to each and everyone to the extent that they are accepted in faith, gratitude and forgiveness. I declare that each and everyone takes the time to forgive themselves first and everyone else for we are all One—this is true Love of self and others that brings peace and harmony to Life.

And I am exceedingly grateful for the faith that each and everyone manifests in the knowledge of the Truth that sets us free as each and everyone realizes the Truth and expands their consciousness in the One Mind. I am so grateful for the Peace, Love, Joy and Abundance that are present in the Universe and manifest in the lives of each and everyone in the light that shines brightly from within. I am so very grateful that each and everyone transcends their conditions and through Faith and Love, embraces Peace and Harmony as the natural order in the Universe and for the Peace and Harmony that embrace them in return.

And I release my Word unto the Law where it is already known to the Mind of God. I declare that my Word shall not return unto me void. I give thanks that this is so and so it is!

Everyday is Earth Day

Treatment by Tammi McKinley, RScP

How blessed am I to write the treatment for Earth Day!!!!

And so I pray:
There is only one Life, one Spirit, expressing as all, as the trees, the air, the sun, the flowers emerging, the new growth of plants and the return of birds. This is all God. God is all there is.

I know that I am one with and inseparable from the Divine. Spirit expresses in, as, and through me, as it does through everyone and everything. All of it is of God.

I speak my word, knowing the appreciation and gratitude we feel for nature expressing at its best. We each are aware of the presence of God throughout the Earth and we honor all that is. Everyday is Earth Day as God is constantly expressing, growing, birthing. Doing all that the Earth does on a daily basis. This is so.

I give thanks for this knowing, these words, the intentions.

I release my word into the Law where it is already known in the One Mind, where my words cannot return to me void. I let it go, I let it be.

And so it is.

The Presence of Love

Treatment by Rev. Faith Woods, RScP
Life is self-perpetuating. Love is the principle of Life, for it is the nature of everything to give. The Spiritual Universe and You (1971)

As the day winds down, I ask: What have I given today? And I am happy to know there is more than one item that comes to mind. And now I give this prayer.

The Presence of Love that created all that is – that is All that is – and continues forever and ever to be that power of creation that ever gives of Itself, is moving through this prayer. It knows no beginning and no end. It is Love and Life. It asks nothing yet gives everything.

It loves it’s creation in such a way to move the mountains that we may see. It brings forth the extraordinary that we may see in new ways. It loves each of its designs so deeply that we are each imbued with all of its qualities. It invites us to bring forth a unique perspective of Love and Joy and Freedom, of Beauty, Prosperity and Peace. There is a constant newness and revitalization of Life in us as we display the talent that we find is ours to give.

Hence from the One we see so many unique angles. Our quest becomes exploring the depths and heights of each perspective, so as to bring forth more from our individual knowing and understanding.

I speak my word that as we gather in community there is support for each individual to bring forth their gift and see it celebrated. I see communities across the world where individuals are uplifted, refueled and energized. I see communities where people are engaged and encouraged. I see the response to this support creating ripples from our individual centers into the greater world, creating peace and love in the outer and inner landscapes of life.

I give thanks that I am blessed to be a part of the livingness and creative process of Life. I am blessed to bring this forth in a conscious and loving way. I am blessed when I am able to see beyond my foibles and move quickly to the field beyond right doing and wrong doing – to lie down in the field of sweet repose – and know that the truth shall prevail and I can access that truth. Life is Good – Life is God.  Life is One.

Knowing blessings abound, I am grateful. I release this prayer into the law of life and know this word as spoken is full and rich. I know there is fulfillment now. I accept these blessings,

And so it is.

A New Day

Treatment by Caron Ward, RScP

Greetings!

Today I am grateful ….for the simple yet wonderful things that show up in my life.  I’m grateful for the greeting my sweet puppy gives me each morning when the alarm goes off… for the aroma and taste of a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning…I’m grateful to see the beautiful colors of this morning’s sky as the day awakens with me…for the sound of the birds greeting this day with me…and most of all I am grateful for being awake and aware – for knowing that I am loved, for this unquestionable faith in Life and all the good that is in it…and so I pray.

Today, as in every day, the Presence, the Power, the Magnificence of the One Spirit I call G-d is showing up in everything that is Life….the beauty, the love, the joy of a new day…G-d is ever present everywhere.

How blessed I am to be an expression of this wondrous Spirit.  I accept and welcome each new pleasure…big and small…knowing that it is bestowed upon me with the love of G-d.  I feel the overflowing of good that surrounds me…I say YES! to it all!  I know that this good is mine, as it is yours, as it that of every living, breathing being.

So I continue this day…easily, with grace, with love, with joy…with gratitude.  I say thank you!   For this gratitude arises from the knowing that there is only G-d, expressing as me, as you, as all that surrounds us together.  I am grateful that these words I write are seen and known as Truth.

So I release them onto the page, into the greatness that is the One, knowing that they are so…

And so it is.

Have an incredible, awesome, magnificent day!

Eternal Renewing

Treatment by Tim Phares, RScP

Well, spring seems to be making an arrival, however haltingly.  It’s still chilly, but it is noticeably different from a month ago.  The bush in my front yard is in full bloom.  The baseball season is underway (in fact, I stepped away from a game to write this.)   We have just passed the Easter season.

We are reminded that life is eternally renewing.  New things are happening all the time.  At my work, they have totally changed the layout of the place and it’s taking the employees some time to get used to it.  But things move.  There is eternally movement.  Yet the core of life is God, and God is eternally unchanging.

How do we live with this dichotomy?  We think of a circle.  It is flowing on the perimeter, around a still and anchored center.  Let us be aware of that center even as we note the renewal that goes on all around.

There is only One Life.  That Life is God’s Life, that Life is perfect, and that Life is my life right now.

All that that Life is is what I am.  It is in, as, through, and all around me.  Therefore, it is me.
As God is anchored and still, so am I.  As God is ever moving, so am I.  As my world renews and evolves, I work with it and express the greatest that there is for me, deeper, higher, greater.  That Which Is is doing it as me.  “Of myself I do nothing; it is the Father within who doeth the work.”

I am thankful for the awareness of renewal, the potential that renewal shows me, and the fullness and beauty of its expression.

And so I simply let it be, knowing that its fullness is now achieved.

And SO it IS!

Colors of the Wind

Treatment by Ed Preston, RScP

Prelude

I have been challenged by Rev. Christian Sorenson’s Daily Message for April 1, titled “Your Healing Chant”.  He says,

“    The Native Americans learned their chant from their vision quests or it was passed on to them by their grandfathers.  It was a powerful statement of their Wholeness that connected them to ancestors, bringing a sense of peace.  It was a chant they repeated many times throughout their lives, in times of challenge and difficulty, allowing them to reclaim presence and awareness from the adversity of the moment.  At the time of death, without thinking, this well-used chant would come to mind, bringing comfort during the transition, allowing them to remain consciously aware, rather than being consumed and loosing control of fear … then following their chant through the threshold.”

I have had a chant that I have used for almost 20 years and that I thought of as I read this message from Rev. Christian.  Then I was challenged again by Amy, our choir director at Celebration Center, who gave me the words to “Colors of the Wind”, from the Disney movie, Pocahantas, also very Native American.  So, a new chant:

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?

Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Treatment

I hear my God as the wolf cries to the blue corn moon.

I join with the grinning bobcat, knowing why he grins.

I know all the mountain’s voices join me in a chorus.

I so gratefully paint with all the colors of the wind.

I accept and release the wolf, and bobcat and mountain, and the wind

Into my Eternal Divinity.

May all of you who read this find you know the Colors of the Wind.
